METHODOLOGY

Where Education meets Employability.

"Employability is a set of achievements – skills, understandings and personal attributes – that makes graduates more likely to gain employment and be successful in their chosen occupations, which benefits themselves, the workforce, the community and the economy.”
Yorke, M. (2004), Employability in higher education: what it is - what it is not, The Higher Education Academy/ESECT

OUR DIFFERENTIATING EXPERTISE

EMPLIOS is a leading international ranking organization that specializes in evaluating Masters in Business based on employability. Our mission is to recognize and promote institutions that are dedicated to preparing students for their chosen careers and improving their employability.

We take an agile and comprehensive approach to our rankings, recognizing that the main objective of higher education is to help students achieve success in their careers. We evaluate an institution's methodology, curriculum, and other factors that contribute to student employability, using a range of qualitative and quantitative criteria to ensure accuracy and fairness.

Our rankings provide valuable insights for students and professionals seeking to enhance their career prospects by identifying the institutions that are most effective in preparing graduates for success in the job market. We are committed to promoting
excellence, agility, and inclusivity in business education, and to empowering individuals to achieve their professional aspirations.

OUR METHODOLOGY

We believe in using a comprehensive approach to rank business schools based on employability. We consult with a diverse range of businesses, including entrepreneurs, SMEs, and large companies, to identify the skills and talents most in-demand from graduates in today's job market. Using a 360º dynamic ranking model, we carefully evaluate over 750 criteria, both qualitative and quantitative, to determine the effectiveness of a school's pedagogical methods in preparing students for success in their careers.

Each institution we rank is assigned with an "EMPLEX", our Employability Index, on a reference scale, which remains confidential and that may be shared with the institution along with a detailed report of our recommendations & perspectives. Our goal is to provide students and professionals with accurate and valuable information that can help guide their education and career decisions.

OUR EVALUATION PROCESS

We take our mission and values seriously. We believe in a rigorous and systematic approach to auditing our standards, with a strict focus on professionalization.

Our ranking process evaluates the following areas:
  • Objectives and methodology: We assess the clarity and effectiveness of the institution's goals and methods for achieving them.
  • Actions, programs, and defined organizations: We evaluate the institution's initiatives and programs, as well as the organizational structures in place to support them.
  • Allocated resources: We review the institution's allocation of resources, including human, financial, and material resources, to ensure that they are sufficient to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Generated results: We examine the results of the institution's actions and resources, assessing their impact on student learning and employability.
  • Processes to evaluate actions and organizations, experience feedback: We look at the institution's processes for evaluating its own actions and organizations, and for collecting and incorporating feedback from students, faculty, and other stakeholders.

Our goal is to ensure that the ranked institution is constantly improving and evolving to meet the needs of our students and the demands of the job market. By maintaining a focus on professionalization, we aim to provide students & graduates with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers.
