SCORING & ACCREDITATION PROCESS

Picture
STEP 1: APPLICATION
The Institution sends an application form, accompanied by an Executive Summary. It should outline the scope of its training in a very concise manner, the actions implemented to ensure its students' professionalization, and its results in terms of employability. Our team ensures that the application process is consistent with our Scoring and Accreditation criteria. A response is formulated within one week. In the event of a positive response, an account manager is assigned to the School and will be your primary contact.

STEP 2: PRELIMINARY AUDIT REPORT
The Institution sends a preliminary audit report accompanied by supporting data documents. This report lays the audit foundations and must be drafted following our ten majors and our evaluation criteria. The Institution is free as to the presentation and drafting of the interim audit report. Still, please keep in mind that you must justify that your teaching methods and implemented resources must be explained with a professionalization focus. All writing must be justified in the appendix. An audit committee evaluates the interim report and provides advice for improvement. A rating is assigned; it should be considered indicative for the moment.

STEP 3: FINAL AUDIT REPORT
According to the audit committee's feedback, the Institution is improving its audit report, which will become final. This report will be presented by a member of the Institution (most often the Dean) to an extended audit committee comprising Emplios' staff and professionals from our professional committee.

After deliberation, a Score is attributed to the Institution:
  • If the Score is equal to or greater than B, the EMPLIOScore is temporary, the process continues, and an audit visit is organized.
  • If the Score is less than B, the audit process stops, and the scoring is final.
In both cases, feedback is made to the Institution to explain this Score and provide recommendations for improvement.

STEP 4: AUDIT VISIT
The audit visit is organized between the account manager and the Institution's accreditation manager based on the audit committee's feedback. It is carried out on-site for three full days by a jury made up of Emplios' staff, pairs, and professionals. It is intended to validate and deepen the information from the final audit report. Any stakeholder in the Institution may be required to appear before this jury. A first return is made during a meeting at the end of the visit.

STEP 5: DEFINITIVE SCORING & ACCREDITATION
According to the audit committee's feedback and the visiting jury, the accreditation committee scores the Institution, and the EMPLIOScore then becomes final:
  • If it is equal to or higher than "A," the Institution is "Emplios Accreditated" for five years and is monitored annually.
  • If it is below "A," the Institution is not accredited but is still monitored annually.

STEP 6: SCORING MONITORING
In year N+1 and N+2, the Institution sends an update of its report, with its own or recommended developments and improvements. The Score can remain the same or can change to a new grade.
A new audit visit is organized if a school with a *BBB* score becomes accredited (*A*).
If a school with an *A* score becomes non-accredited (*BBB*), it remains accredited but is placed under surveillance for one year. As the situation continued the following year, an audit visit will be organized.
A school will be audited on-site at most every three years.

TIMING:
The complete audit lasts approximately ten/twelve months (from the moment of the application to the accreditation of the School). A "Fastrack" course is available to reduce this duration to four/six months, a practical option to meet a particular deadline (date of registration or eligibility of your prospects, for example.)
